MenaITech and The Importance of Innovative Technology in MENA ICT Forum 2018

Based on its interest in keeping abreast of the latest developments in the Information Technology sector, as well as its interest in the Fourth Industrial Revolution and what it brought in new technologies that spark innovation and creativity, MenaITech – the Jordanian company specialized in human resource information systems and management solutions – participated in the 2018 Information and Communication Technology Forum “MENA ICT Forum 2018”. The Forum was held on the 10th and 11th of September at the King Hussein Business Park under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah.

MenaITech affirmed via a press release that its participation in the Forum titled “The New IT; Innovative Technology” was not its first, as it has participated in several earlier forums organized by the Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (Int@j). The Forum, which is the largest communication and information technology forum, is organized biennially by Int@j and addresses the latest global technological trends as well as the transformation of the world economy into what is known as a digital economy, under the umbrella of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The company stated that its participation in the conference is in line with its mission and work which are based on patented innovations and which meet the objectives of the current Forum. MenaITech has many innovative technological products in the field of human resource information systems and solutions, and has adopted the use of cloud computing and artificial intelligence.

The 2018 international Forum witnessed many beneficial discussions through 11 sessions held over the course of two days. The sessions addressed the latest technical trends in the industry, with the participation of 30 expert speakers from around the world.

The Forum discussed developments in digital industry and the ways to benefit from them, such as financial technology (FinTech), e-commerce and its stages of development, Arabic content and the potential for virtual reality, augmented reality, smart city concepts, information security, big data and the Internet of things.

Dr. Bashar Hawamdeh, CEO of MenaITech, said “This Forum plays an important role in enhancing the status of Jordan and creating investment opportunities in the sector.” He added that participants benefit from international experience and new, rapidly-changing technologies, due to the many discussions on modern technology and the possibility of networking between Jordanian and international companies, all of which is in line with MenaITech’s overall direction.

Hawamdeh asserted that there is no longer an excuse to lag behind new technology, especially the concepts of cloud computing, artificial intelligence, the Internet of things, smart cities and other concepts of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. “These are the technologies that lead creativity and innovation,” he noted, adding that companies and institutions that lag behind will be unable to compete globally in industry and economy.

Hawamdeh indicated that MenaITech continues to develop specialized, patented products in the field of human resources, as it has in past years. This has enabled the company to be recognized for its achievements, including being nominated by Insights Success to its list of ’10 Most Promising Human Capital Management Solution Providers for 2018’, and being named by HR Tech Outlook – an American magazine specialized in human resources – as one of the top 10 providers of payroll solutions. MenaITech is dedicated to innovation and creativity in developing its patented programs and has nearly 15 years of experience and success.
